YY 1042-2003 Dentistry—Polymer-based filling,restorative and luting materials
Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements for polymer-based filling, restoration, and bonding materials used in dentistry. These materials can be directly or indirectly used to repair dental cavities after being activated by mechanical mixing, manual mixing, or the addition of external energy in the oral cavity or outside the oral cavity. The bonding materials covered by this standard refer to materials used for bonding and fixing restorations (such as inlays, onlays, veneers, crowns, and bridges). This standard does not cover resin-based crown and bridge materials (ISO 10477) and resin-based pit and fissure sealants for caries prevention (ISO 6874).
