Abstract
This standard specifies the test apparatus, test procedures, alternative test methods, safety measures, and test reports for determining the lower explosive concentration limit of dust-air mixtures.
This standard applies to combustible dust that relies on oxygen in the air to sustain its oxidation reaction.
This standard does not apply to explosives or substances that can burn and explode without relying on oxygen in the air.
