GB/T 17248.2-2018 Acoustics—Noise emitted by machinery and equipment—Determination of emission sound pressure levels at a work station and at other specified positions in an essentially free field over a reflecting plane with negligible environmental corrections
Abstract
This part of GB/T 17248 specifies the measurement method for the sound pressure level emitted from the working position near a machine or equipment and other specified positions in an approximately free field above a reflective surface (the method principle is described in Appendix D). The working position is the location where the operator is located, which can be in an open space, a workshop where the sound source to be measured is operating, an operation room fixedly connected to the sound source to be measured, or a closed space far from the sound source. Other specified positions can be located near the working position, or near a machine with/without supervision, and these positions are sometimes referred to as the bystander's position.
The sound pressure level is measured using the A-weighted sound level. If necessary, the frequency-band sound pressure level and the C-weighted peak emission sound pressure level can also be measured according to this part.
