Abstract
This document specifies the basic requirements for the overhaul of automotive engines, the requirements for major components, assembly requirements, completion inspection requirements, as well as testing methods and quality assurance.
This document is applicable to overhauled passenger cars and freight cars engines fueled by gasoline and diesel that have been completed and delivered from the factory. Engines fueled by other types of fuel can be used for reference.
