YY/T 1504-2016 Implants for surgery—Test method for determining the axial pullout strength of metallic bone screws
Abstract
This standard specifies the test method for measuring the axial force required to extract or fail a metal bone screw (hereinafter referred to as "screw") from a specified material. This standard is only used to confirm the consistency of the tested products or to compare the force values of different products, and is not used to predict the force value required to extract the screw from human bone.
This standard may not be applicable to some screws for special purposes. It is recommended to consider the applicability of this standard from the perspective of the specific material of the screw and its intended use.
