Abstract
This standard specifies the design, construction, testing, operation, and management specifications for digital certificate certification systems serving the public. This standard provides a unified basis for achieving the interconnectivity and cross-certification of digital certificate certification systems, guides the construction and testing evaluation of digital certificate certification systems by third-party certificate certification authorities, and standardizes the application of cryptography and related security technologies in digital certificate certification systems.
This standard applies to the design, construction, testing, operation, and management of digital certificate certification systems of third-party certificate certification authorities. For the construction, operation, and management of digital certificate certification systems of non-third-party certificate certification authorities, this standard can be referenced as a guideline.
