Abstract
This standard specifies the product classification and code, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and safety of synthetic cutting fluids prepared from various water-soluble additives and water.
The products specified in this standard can be in the form of concentrated liquids, pastes, and solid powders. When used, they are diluted with a certain proportion of water to form a transparent or semi-transparent diluted solution, which is suitable for lubrication, cooling, and rust prevention in various cutting processes such as metal turning and milling.
