GB/T 37199.2-2018 Plastics—Polybutene(PB) moulding and extrusion materials—Part 2:Preparation of test specimens and determination of properties
Abstract
This part of GB/T 37199 specifies the methods and conditions for preparing and testing the performance of polybutylene 1 (PB1) molding and extrusion materials. For simplicity, PB is referred to as polybutylene (PB) throughout this part. It also prescribes the requirements for pre-treating test materials and adjusting the condition of samples before testing. This part lists the appropriate and necessary properties and test methods for characterizing PB molding and extrusion materials. These properties are selected from the general test methods in GB/T 19467.1-2004. It also lists other test methods widely used or of particular significance for molding and extrusion materials, as well as the determination methods for the named properties in Part 1. To ensure the reproducibility and repeatability of test results, the methods specified in this part for sample preparation and condition adjustment, as well as the specified sample sizes and test methods, should be used. Test data obtained from samples prepared under different conditions or using different sample sizes may be inconsistent.
