Abstract
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of marine workshop primers. This standard applies to workshop primers applied to marine steel plates, section steel, and formed parts after they have undergone shot blasting (or sandblasting) surface treatment to meet the required standards. These workshop primers serve as temporary rust-prevention primers to protect steel materials.
