GB/T 9761-2008 Paints and varnishes—Visual comparison of the colour of paints
Abstract
This standard is one of a series of standards related to the sampling and testing of color paints, varnishes, and related products. This standard specifies a visual colorimetric method for the color of the coating film of color paints and related products. The sample is compared with a standard sample, which can be a reference standard plate or a newly prepared standard plate. The test can be conducted under natural daylight or under artificial light sources in a colorimetric box. If the lighting conditions and observation conditions have not been agreed upon in advance, this standard is not applicable to the color comparison of color paint coatings containing special effect pigments such as metallic pigments.
