GB/T 21843-2008 Plastics—Vinyl chloride homopolymer and copolymer resins—Particle size determination by mechanical sieving
Abstract
This standard specifies a method for determining the particle size distribution of vinyl chloride homopolymers and copolymers by measuring the amount of resin retained on selected sieves with different sieve pore sizes. The results can be expressed as the sieve residue on a single sieve or the average particle size of the entire sample. This method is not recommended for sieves with a sieve pore size of less than 0.038 mm.
