Abstract
This standard specifies four methods that can be used to determine the diameter and cross-sectional area of carbon fiber. In this standard, the term "diameter" applies to all cross-sectional shapes, including the "true" diameter of circular cross-sections and the "apparent" diameter of non-circular cross-sections.
