Abstract
This standard applies to xylitol, a food additive made from materials such as corn cobs, sugarcane bagasse, and wood, which is first hydrolyzed and purified to produce xylose, and then processed through hydrogenation and other methods. Alternatively, xylitol can be directly produced from xylose as a raw material through hydrogenation and other processes.
