Abstract
This standard applies to the food additive glycyrrhizic acid ammonium, which is made from licorice (Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch., Glycyrrhiza inflata Bat., and Glycyrrhiza glabra L.) as the raw material, through processes such as water extraction, sulfuric acid (or hydrochloric acid) acidification and precipitation, ethanol extraction, ammoniation, and crystallization.
