This part of GA 499 specifies the terms and definitions, classification, model numbering, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, preparation requirements for user manuals, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of thermal gas aerosol fire extinguishing devices.
This part is applicable to non-pipe network thermal gas aerosol fire extinguishing devices.
This part is not applicable to pipe network thermal gas aerosol fire extinguishing systems, cold gas aerosol fire extinguishing devices, and aerosol fire extinguishing devices used in explosive hazardous areas.
