Abstract
This part of GB/T 14506 specifies the determination method of the total iron content (calculated as TFe2O3) in silicate rocks.
This part is applicable to the determination of total iron content in silicate rocks, and is also applicable to the determination of total iron content in soil and aquatic sediments.
Determination range: Potassium dichromate volumetric method, for total iron content greater than 5%. Sulfosalicylic acid photometry, for total iron content of 0.05% to 15%. O-phenanthroline photometry, for total iron content of 0.01% to 15%.
