Abstract
This part of GB/T 14506 specifies the determination method of the magnesium oxide content in silicate rocks.
This part is applicable to the determination of magnesium oxide content in silicate rocks, and also to the determination of magnesium oxide content in soil and aquatic sediments.
Determination range: Ethylene glycol dimethyl ether diamine tetraacetic acid (EGTA) complexometric titration method, for magnesium oxide content of 1% to 10%. Flame atomic absorption spectrometry, for magnesium oxide content of 0.01% to 1%.
