GB/T 17388-2010 Electric submersible pump installations
Abstract
1.1 This standard specifies the transportation, loading and unloading, storage, on-site installation, start-up, well intervention, and on-site analysis and evaluation after well intervention of conventional submersible electric pump units.
This standard applies to the installation and replacement of all major components of conventional submersible electric pump units (see Figure 1), and is particularly suitable for the installation of submersible electric pump units and tubing in oil and gas production.
This standard does not involve the selection and application of submersible electric pump units.
1.2 As long as the good operation of the submersible electric pump units can be guaranteed, different installation procedures are acceptable. However, all installation procedures must be based on sound engineering experience, reasonable judgment, and proper maintenance.
