Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements for reduced cobalt powder, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates, and the content of contracts (or purchase orders).
This standard applies to cobalt powders obtained by reduction from cobalt-containing materials such as cobalt oxalate, cobalt carbonate, and cobalt oxide, which are used in industries such as hard alloys, diamond products, rechargeable batteries, and ceramics.
