This standard specifies the source, quality requirements, inspection methods, and inspection rules for brood fish of silver carp (Mylopharyngodon piceus), grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idellus), silver bream (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix), and bighead carp (Aristichthys nobilis). This standard applies to sexually mature brood fish of silver carp, grass carp, silver bream, and bighead carp.
