Abstract
This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality certificates and order forms (or contracts) for physically pure platinum wires.
This standard applies to the manufacture of standard and industrial platinum resistance thermometers; standard and industrial S-type and R-type thermocouples; standard electrodes, and other instruments and meters that use physically pure platinum wires (hereinafter referred to as platinum wires).
