LY/T 2738-2016 Technical regulation for surveying of old and notable trees
Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, general principles, technical procedures for the survey of ancient and famous trees, pre-survey preparations, on-site observation and investigation of each tree, on-site observation and investigation of ancient tree groups, internal data processing, data verification, data entry and reporting, and data archiving, etc.
This standard applies to the survey of ancient and famous trees within the People's Republic of China, excluding the primary forest stands in the state-owned forests of Northeast Inner Mongolia, the primary forest stands in the state-owned forests of Southwest and Northwest China, and nature reserves.
