This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, provisions for grading fabric surface defects, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of dyed cotton fabrics.
This standard is applicable to the quality appraisal of dyed cotton fabrics (including velvet fabrics) used in clothing and home textiles.
