GB/T 6504-2008

This standard specifies the test methods for the oil content of chemical fibers: extraction method (Method A), neutral soap solution washing method (Method B), optical refractive index method (Appendix A), and nuclear magnetic resonance method (Appendix B). When there is a dispute, the extraction method shall be used. If this method is not applicable, the parties concerned shall agree on the corresponding test methods. This standard is applicable to the determination of the oil content of chemical fibers such as polyester (polyester), polyamide (nylon), polyacrylonitrile (acrylic fiber), polypropylene, polyvinyl acetate formaldehyde (viscose), and cellulose fibers.
