Abstract
This part of GB/T 9089 specifies the requirements for electrical facilities and devices under harsh outdoor conditions, in order to ensure the safety of people, livestock, and property, as well as the normal operation of equipment. This part applies to electrical facilities such as mining, stacking, and primary processing machinery, as well as conveyor systems, used in harsh outdoor conditions (including open-pit mines, quarries, storage yards, and similar locations). The scope of GB/T 9089.1—2008 applies to this part.
