Abstract
This standard specifies the tooth profile, diameter and pitch series, basic dimensions, tolerances, markings, and limit dimensions for accommodating galvanized thread on internal threads. This standard applies to hot-dip galvanized threaded fasteners. The outer thread surface has a hot-dip galvanized layer, and the inner thread is tapped after galvanizing.
