Abstract
This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for flexible ring couplings (hereinafter referred to as couplings), as well as marking, packaging, and storage requirements. This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of couplings used to connect two coaxial drive shaft systems, which are capable of compensating for relative offsets and providing vibration damping and buffering functions.
