GB 12488-2008 Food additive—Sodium cyclamate
Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for the food additive sodium cyclamate (sweetener). This standard applies to sodium cyclamate (sweetener) produced by reacting cyclohexylamine with chlorosulfonic acid or aminosulfonic acid to form cyclohexylaminosulfonic acid, and then reacting it with sodium hydroxide. This product is used as a food sweetener.
