GB/T 17771-2010 Earth-moving machinery—Falling-object protective structures—Laboratory tests and performance requirements
Abstract
This standard specifies the laboratory tests for measuring the characteristics of the falling object protection structure (FOPS) for riding-type earthwork machinery defined in GB/T 8498, and gives the performance requirements of the falling object protection structure (FOPS) in typical tests.
This standard applies to FOPS that are integrated with the machine or made as components. This standard does not apply to FOPS for earthwork backfilling and compacting machines, excavators, rollers, trenchers, pipe-laying machines, or additional seats used for operating auxiliary devices (such as reverse-bucket auxiliary devices), or machines with a rated power of less than 15 kW.
Note: This standard can be used to provide guidance to manufacturers of rollover protection structures and falling object protection structures.
