Abstract
This part of GB/T 2951 specifies the test methods for polymer insulation and sheathing materials of power distribution and communication cables and optical cables, including those used on ships and offshore platforms. These test methods are applicable to polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) compounds, including foamed insulation and insulation with a foamed outer layer.
