Abstract
This document specifies the requirements for general cabling used in office premises, which may include individual or multiple buildings within a campus. This document covers balanced cabling and fiber optic cabling. It is applicable to sites with a maximum telecommunications service wiring length of 2,000 m. It can also be used for larger-scale installations. The cabling specified in this document supports a wide range of services, including voice, data, video, and power supply.
