This document applies to gas analyzers used for determining the composition of gas mixtures. It specifies the terms, definitions, requirements, and test methods for gas analyzers (hereinafter referred to as "analyzers"). Other parts of this series of standards, such as GB/T 18403.2, describe analyzers of a particular type (using high-temperature electrochemical sensors). This document is consistent with the provisions of GB/T 6592 and IEC 60770. It applies to analyzers fixedly installed in any location (indoor or outdoor), as well as analyzers used in sample processing systems and in-situ measurement techniques. It applies to complete sets of analyzers provided by the same manufacturer, including all mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of the analyzer. It also applies to sensor units and electronic units provided by different manufacturers. For the purposes of this document, any AC or DC regulated power supplies provided or specified for use by the manufacturer, whether integrated with the analyzer or not, are considered part of the analyzer. Safety requirements refer to the relevant provisions of IEC 610101. If one or more components in the sample are flammable and there is air or a gas mixture containing oxygen or other oxidizing components, the concentration range of the reactive components is limited to outside the flammable range. The standard ranges for analog DC and pneumatic signals used in process control systems are referred to in the relevant provisions of IEC 603811 and IEC 60382. The selection of methods for measuring the influence quantity is referred to in the relevant provisions of IEC 60654. The documentation requirements for analyzers are referred to in the relevant provisions of IEC 61187. General principles regarding quantities, units, and symbols are referred to in ISO 310 and ISO 1000.
