Abstract
This part of GB/T 5169 details the test method for determining the glow-wire flammability index (GWFI) on samples of solid electrical and electronic insulating materials or other solid materials.
This test method is used to conduct material tests on a series of standard samples. The data obtained, together with the data obtained from the IEC 60695-2-13 glow-wire ignition temperature (GWIT) test method, are used to evaluate whether the materials meet the requirements of GB/T 5169.11-2006 according to the pre-selection procedure specified in GB/T 5169.9-2013.
