GB/T 25947-2010 Aluminium ores—Determination of the moisture content of bulk material
Abstract
This standard specifies the determination of the moisture content in bauxite.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the moisture content in samples taken from bulk bauxite (such as cargo and stacked materials).
Appendix A of this standard stipulates the methods to be used when it is difficult to sieve, crush, and separate samples due to their stickiness or moisture. In such cases, the samples can be pre-dried until they can be processed smoothly. After pre-drying, the moisture content of the samples can be determined according to the steps specified in Appendix A. Appendix B stipulates the correction methods for bauxite deliveries that encounter sprinkling and/or rainfall. When the cargo is exposed to rain and/or sprinkling to control dust, the moisture content of the bauxite can be corrected according to the added moisture specified in Appendix B.
