Abstract
This standard specifies the terms, definitions, and symbols related to the electrical energy balance test and calculation of ventilator systems, the determination of the system boundary, testing requirements, the calculation of electrical energy utilization rate, the determination of operating efficiency, and the determination of input electrical energy and power, etc.
This standard applies to centrifugal, mixed-flow, and axial-flow ventilator systems driven by AC electric motors.
This standard does not apply to ventilator systems used for material conveying.
