Abstract
This part of GB/T 37400 specifies the ordering requirements, manufacturing processes, technical requirements, inspection rules and test methods, re-inspection and re-heat treatment, quality certificates, and marking and packaging for large forgings for general use.
This part is applicable to the ordering, manufacturing, and inspection of large forgings made from carbon structural steel and alloy structural steel by free forging on hydraulic presses and forging hammers. Forgings made from other materials can also be used as a reference.
