Abstract
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for low-background alpha and/or beta measuring instruments. This standard applies to instruments used to measure weak alpha or beta radioactive activity or surface emissivity, as well as to the parts of multi-purpose instruments used to measure weak alpha or beta radioactivity. This standard does not apply to instruments used to measure alpha or beta energy spectra.
