This standard specifies the objectives, tasks, and basic content of various solid mineral exploration works, as well as the basic technical requirements for each exploration stage, mineral exploration design, geological mapping, heavy sand measurement, geophysical exploration (geophysical exploration, hereinafter the same), geochemical exploration (geochemical exploration, hereinafter the same), remote sensing geological survey, mine point inspection and evaluation, mineral exploration measurement, prospecting projects (surface and mountain projects, drilling projects, pit exploration projects, hereinafter the same), sampling and sample preparation testing, study of technical conditions for ore deposit mining, study of technical performance of ore processing and metallurgy, resource reserve estimation, feasibility evaluation, report preparation, and data submission.
This standard applies to all stages of solid mineral exploration and serves as one of the bases for conducting various solid mineral exploration works and accepting their results. It is also one of the technical bases for the supervision and management of solid mineral exploration.
