Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of gas fire extinguishing systems and their components, the method of model compilation, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, requirements for the preparation of user manuals, and the requirements for the filling of fire extinguishing agents.
This standard applies to heptafluoropropane (HFC227ea) fire extinguishing systems, trifluoromethane (HFC23) fire extinguishing systems, and inert gas fire extinguishing systems [including: IG01 (argon) fire extinguishing system, IG100 (nitrogen) fire extinguishing system, IG55 (argon, nitrogen) fire extinguishing system, and IG541 (argon, nitrogen, carbon dioxide) fire extinguishing system].
