Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements for vanadium, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and the contents of quality certificates and purchase orders (or contracts).
This standard applies to vanadium produced by the molten salt electrolytic refining method. This product is used in superconducting materials, structural materials for fast neutron reactors, and as additives for special alloys, among other applications.
