Abstract
This standard specifies the general principles of marine data buoy operations, as well as the basic requirements for assembly, deployment, inspection, maintenance and repair, recovery, and data processing.
This standard applies to the operation of marine data buoys. Buoys for special purposes and those operating on lakes and rivers can be implemented in accordance with this standard.
