Abstract
This standard specifies the design principles and requirements for neutron flux rate measurement core instrumentation in nuclear reactors. This standard applies to online core neutron detectors and core neutron flux rate measurement components and instruments designed for important safety purposes (protection, information, or control) of reactors. Commonly used detectors include DC ionization chambers, fission ionization chambers, and self-powered neutron detectors.
