Abstract
This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking of marine electric welded anchor chains (including ordinary chain links and accessories) (hereinafter referred to as anchor chains). This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of both segmented and non-segmented anchor chains used on all types of ships.
