The chapter in GB 4706.1—2005 is replaced by the following content:
This part specifies the safety of electric heating drainage troughs used for roof drainage in household and similar applications.
This part applies to electric heating drainage troughs with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V, used for de-icing the drainage systems of roofs, balconies, or similar structures.
The common hazards associated with the devices covered by this part may be encountered by anyone in or around residential environments. However, in general, this part does not address the following:
