Abstract
This standard defines the classification of Series 1 containers based on their external dimensions, specifies their corresponding rated capacity, and sets minimum internal dimensions and doorframe opening sizes for certain model containers. The containers listed in this standard are suitable for international combined transport. This standard briefly specifies the external dimensions and some internal dimensions of Series 1 containers. The specific dimensions of each model container are included in the corresponding standards of ISO 1496.
