Abstract
This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, and storage of cast iron gate valves for marine flanges (hereinafter referred to as gate valves) in accordance with GB/T 569 and GB/T 2501. This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of gate valves used in media such as seawater, fresh water, lubricating oil, and fuel pipeline systems.
