GB/T 18802.352-2022 Components for low-voltage surge protection—Part 352:Selection and application principles for telecommunications and signalling network surge isolation transformers(SITs)
Abstract
This document describes the application of surge isolation transformers (SITs) for telecommunications transformers with a signal voltage peak-to-peak value of no more than 400 V. These transformers have a high rated impact withstand voltage between the input and output windings, whether shielded or not. SITs are used as surge protection components to suppress the forward propagation of common-mode surges. This document introduces the selection of SITs, application principles, and related information. This document does not include content related to power line communication transformers.
