Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of elastic bands, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, and storage.
This standard applies to elastic bands made from various natural fibers, chemical fibers, and latex threads, as well as spandex, processed by weaving, knitting, and braiding techniques. Those adding other elastic materials may refer to this standard for implementation.
This standard does not apply to non-civilian belts.
