GB/T 16422.1-2019 Plastics—Methods of exposure to laboratory light sources—Part 1:General guidance
Abstract
This part of GB/T 16422 provides information and general guidelines for selecting and implementing exposure methods described in detail in subsequent sections. It also describes the general performance requirements for plastic laboratory light exposure equipment, serving as a reference for manufacturers of artificial accelerated climate aging or artificial accelerated radiation exposure equipment.
Note: In this part, the term "light source" refers to a radiation source that emits ultraviolet, visible, infrared, or any combination of these three types of radiation.
This part also provides information for explaining the data of artificial accelerated climate aging or artificial accelerated radiation exposure tests. For more information on measuring the changes in plastic performance after exposure and the methods of presenting the results, see ISO 4582.
