GB/T 16915.4-2019 Switches for household and similar fixed-electrical installations—Part 2-3:Particular requirements for time delay switches (TDS)
Abstract
This part of GB/T 16915 specifies the technical requirements for delay switches, including their classification, marking, mechanical performance, and electrical performance.
This part applies to delay switches (hereinafter referred to as TDS) used for manual and/or remote control on fixed electrical devices for indoor or outdoor use in households and similar applications, with a rated voltage not exceeding 440 V and a rated current not exceeding 63 A.
TDS are equipped with a delay device operated by mechanical, thermal, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical means, or a combination of the above methods.
Electronic delay switches are within the scope of GB/T 16915.2.
Switches equipped only with passive components such as resistors, capacitors, positive temperature coefficient (PTC) elements, negative temperature coefficient (NTC) elements, and printed circuit boards are not considered electronic delay switches.
